A Visit To Jesus Is Lord Family Campground

Hello! I’m Rob, and I’ve known the Riordan family for several years now. In fact, I help them with this web site.

I visited Jesus Is Lord Family Campground on July 9th. I was picking my son up from Northern Frontier, and thought I’d stop and stay at JILFC for the night before I picked him up in the morning.  It’s about a 3 hour drive to the camp ground from my home in Northern New Jersey.

I arrived at the end of one of their regular Friday night Campfire Worship times. I was warmly greeted by Brendan, Dawn, and their family, and met some of the folks at the campfire.

I stayed in one of the cabins. It was a rainy night, but I was able to keep the windows open and haven’t slept so soundly in a long time. There was a wonderful breeze coming into the cabin. It was really great.

Parking was conveniently close to the cabin!

The next morning, I took a shower in their newly upgraded men’s room (the women’s room was upgraded as well), enjoyed breakfast at a nearby McDonalds,  and was on my way.

I’d recommend for you to come and visit the campground- I think you’ll like it very much!  Whether you like to rough it in tents, or prefer the comfort of a roof over your head, you’ll enjoy your stay.
